Dato’ Vijay Eswaran’s second book, In The Thinking Zon achieved sold-out success at the MPH store on May 9, 2010 after it was launched by MPH Group of Companies Director, Datuk Dr Abdullah Abd Rahman. A crowd of more than 200 of the author’s fans and supporters turned up at the MPH Bookstore in One Utama Shopping Complex for a meet-the-author and book signing session.
In his speech Datuk Dr Abdullah Abd Rahman said,” In The Thinking Zone, is truly a valuable gift to fellow readers. I’m glad that Dato’ Vijay Eswaran had the idea of sharing his thoughts with the rest of the world by presenting them in the form of this book.”
“Focus on changing you, and the world will follow. Focus on changing the world, and you will be just a follower.” This is amongst the words of wisdom contained in the book which is accompanied by breathtaking pictures of places photographed by Dato’ Vijay Eswaran himself during his travels around the world. The book is an embodiment of Dato’s popular ‘Thought of the Day’ program that reaches out and influences the lives of thousands of people around the world. Simple thoughts and quotes help guide readers towards a more proactive approach to life and its challenges.
Dato’s first book, In The Sphere of Silence, received worldwide acclaim when it was launched three years ago. Forbes magazine called the book “the oddest management book that has a message to contemplate” when it made its world debut in the United States.
Also present at the launch were Datin Umayal Eswaran, Head of RYTHM House that published the book and Directors and employees of Dato’s company, the QI Group.
