Taking flight ‘On the Wings of Thought’

KUALA LUMPUR:  Entrepreneur Datuk Vijay Eswaran’s fourth book entitled On the Wings of Thought was launched at MPH Bookstores recently.

The book is a compilation of the author’s thoughts and quotations set against a backdrop of riveting photographs taken by him on his  travels around the world.

“Vijay often has a lot of wisdom to impart, whether it is from a business point of view or a spiritual point of view, or even for personal development,” said Institute of Corporate Governance president Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin Megat Khas, who launched the book.

“So, I am very proud to stand here and acknowledge another aspect of his ability, that of an author.

“With this book  On the Wings of Thought Vijay has not only reminded us that he is an author extraordinaire but  also a very capable photo artist, with a remarkable eye for colour and composition.

“The pictures in this book are breathtaking, the words that accompany them are thought-provoking,” added Megat Najmuddin.

The book is published by RYTHM House Publishing Sdn Bhd.

Vijay was recently named one of the 40 Heroes of Philanthropy by Forbes Asia. He is the executive chairman of the QI Group, a multimillion dollar multinational company, operating diverse business lines which include e-commerce, direct marketing, finance, media, real estate and hospitality in nearly 180 countries.

The company is founded on the tenet “Raise Yourself to Help Mankind”, a term conceptualised by Vijay that forms the basis for philanthropic work around the world.

He is also the author of In the Sphere of Silence In the Thinking Zone  and  18 Stepping Stones.
