PETALING JAYA: About 100 guests attended the book launch of QI Group of Companies founder and executive chairman Datuk Vijay Eswaran at Sunway Resort & Spa here, recently.
Vijay’s book, titled On The Wings of Thought, is his fourth publication.
Guest-of-honour Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the book is a good example of how entrepreneurship and spirituality can go hand in hand.
"I am impressed with his creative way with words.
"After reading his book and seeing the things he has done for people, I feel that entrepreneurship and spirituality can go hand in hand," said Lee, who is also the chairman of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
The book is a collection of the author’s profound thoughts and quotes set against a backdrop of riveting photographs taken during his travels around the world.
"My inspiration came from my day-to-day thoughts. Everything begins from a thought.
"If we spend a minute to think, everything will change. But the question is, do we think?" said Vijay.
His other books are In the Sphere of Silence, In The Thinking Zone and 18 Stepping Stones. — By C. Premananthini
