Dato’ Vijay Eswaran has been conferred the Commanders Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (D.P.M.P.) award which carries the title Dato’ from His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah. It is a great honour and a befitting one as this Order is limited to only 100 living recipients who have excellent standing in rendering services to the State in all fields.
The award is conferred in conjunction with the 84th birthday of the Sultan, and recognises Dato’ Vijay’s contributions to the development of the State of Perak and the nation.
He was conferred a similar honour by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang in 2006.
