The Daily Island and Bottomline, newspapers in Sri Lanka reported Vijay Eswaran’s comments on the AAAA Business Summit 2009, held in Dubai in early Feb 2009. His key message is that South-South cooperation is a must in these troubled times of global recession if we want to move on from it.
Dubai recently hosted the Arab-Africa-Asia-Americas Summit themed ‘The Commonwealth in Dubai driving trade and investment through the Middle East’. The summit examined the role of Dubai and the Middle East region in promoting economic development, and brought together high profile delegates from all over the world. The QI Group was a principal sponsor of this event. Vijay Eswaran, Executive Chairman of the QI Group spoke to Khaleej Times about the event and the significance of South-South Cooperation.
